The Ecoblue Cube comes with simple step-by-step instructions. The Cube is simple to use, but it is extremely important the instructions are followed. Cubes last approximately 1,400 uses, which typically translates to 1 - 3 weeks depending on frequency of traffic to the urinal.

Uric scale build-up created by bacteria and water is the chief source of offensive odors in urinals. Uric scale also creates unsightly stains and can accumulate enough to block pipes. Instead of masking uric smell, the beneficial bacteria released from the Ecoblue Cube attack uric scale and the odor is eliminated. The Ecoblue Cube dramatically reduces the need for costly and poisonous deodorant blocks, sanitizers and air fresheners.

Uric scale is insoluble in water and difficult to remove. It collects on the internal surfaces of urinals and pipe work, in particular urinal traps and outlets. When uric scale is combined with lime scale (arising from calcium and magnesium carbonates present in most water supplies) the potential exists for both odors and blockages. As the Ecoblue Cube dissolves, natural beneficial bacteria are released and digest waste material and scale throughout the urinal and drain.
